5 Asian Desginers the Characters from ‘Scream’ Would’ve Worn

Released in 1996, Scream refreshed the horror genre with its self-awareness, witty writing and “final girl” tropes. Our protagonist Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) was utterly compelling—she dealt with deaths, taunting, betrayal and overcoming a killer, and her bravery in the face of fear was memorable.

Equally memorable were the totally ’90s teen girl outfits—Prescott had cool and casual style, often mixing feminine items with oversized pieces, while her best friend Tatum Riley (Rose McGowan) nailed the cute and preppy look with pastel tops and miniskirts. In the films iconic opening scene, Casey Becker (Drew Barrymore) was soft and sweet in a cream get-up, but that was unfortunately stained red pretty quickly.
