A Rare Cute Edition

A Rare Cute Edition

LEGO and Land Rover worked together to launch the LEGO Icons Land Rover Classic Defender 90 model set back in March, using it to celebrate the 75th-anniversary celebration of the automaker. As it turns out, this wasn’t a one-off, and there’s another collaborative project between the two companies, with this cute little Land Rover Classic Defender hitting the market on 1 June.

While this model only has 150 pieces and measures just over 7 cm high, 12 cm long, and 6 cm wide, the details from the real-life version have been impressively translated into miniature form.

Looking at the finished result, it’s evident that the design team has worked hard maintaining the vehicle’s proportions, and features such as the roof rack, headlights, and side-view mirrors are all present — there’s even a green Land Rover badge, as well as a driver minifigure to complete the set.

Unlike the larger Defender 90 set from March, which is targeted at adults due to the multitude of small brick pieces and the complexity of the build, kids from eight years old and up can enjoy the upcoming LEGO Land Rover Classic Defender set.
