Garden on the rooftop

Garden on the rooftop

The green area on the rooftop of the Copernicus Science Centre (entered through a ramp from the southern part of the building).

The garden on the rooftop of the CSC building is a walking space overlooking the Vistula River, the roofs of the Old Town, and the National Stadium. It is designed to resemble an eroding riverside landscape. Like streams grooving the soil, the walking paths meander between craters (which fulfil the function of skylights) and pots with dozens of plant species resistant to harsh growing conditions.

Accessibility for the disabled: entry and exit for the wheelchairs through a long ramp; some alleys of the garden have a width of less than 90 cm.
