H. Moser & Cie Translates the Perpetual 1 in Streamliner Form

H. Moser & Cie. is taking its expertise in Haute Horlogerie and equipping it into the Streamliner’s robust case. Similar to the Perpetual 1’s calibre HMC 341, this new watch’s revolutionary calibre HMC 812 breaks the perpetual calendar complication into a minimal display that’s properly adjusted for the sports watch.

With a massive power reserve of 168 hours (indicator at 10 o’clock), the Streamliner Perpetual Calendar tells the month via a small red and white central hand, has a date at the 4 o’clock position (numerals tilted to 26°), and a leap year indicator located on the movement side. The watch also features a “Flash Calendar” for instantaneous date change at midnight, and it can be adjusted forwards and backwards at any time of the day without any strain on the movement.

Sitting at 42.3mm on the wrist, the train-inspired wristwatch sees details like micro-blasted finishing, anthracite rhodium plating on the main plate, and anthracite grey PVD coating on the balance bridge, train wheels, barrel, and escapement plate. The entire watch is finished with H. Moser & Cie.’s signature fumé dial which is marked with a red and white outer minute track and Globolight® lumed hands.

Priced at approximately $55,000 USD, the H. Moser & Cie Streamliner Perpetual Calendar watch will be released later this year in limited quantity.
