INTRODUCING THE BIG BANG VEUVE CLICQUOT POLO CLASSIC 2021
October 2nd, 2021 [Los Angeles, California]—To celebrate the return of the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic, the luxury Swiss watchmaker Hublot and the famed champagne house again joined forces to create a limited-edition timepiece in celebration of the iconic match that took place on Saturday October 2nd at the Will Rogers State Historic Park. As a longstanding partner, Hublot served as the official timekeeper and scoreboard sponsor.
Champagne, horology, and the Hollywood Hills created the perfect ambiance to celebrate the partnership, sport and style that has become synonymous with the Veuve Clicquot polo classic. Bringing side-line glamour to the pitch, Hublot presented MVP Argentine polo star Delfina Blaquier with a Racing Grey Diamond Classic Fusion timepiece in acknowledgment of her six goal performance for her winning team Vueve Clicquot.
To celebrate the partnership and the perfect polo day in LA, Hublot has released its fourth limited edition timepiece in partnership with Veuve Clicquot. Fitting with the distinctive brand codes of each Maison, The Big Bang Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic 2021 is fashioned in 44mm and comes in Hublot’s signature All Black ceramic with two strap options. The first, a black alligator with Veuve Clicquot’s signature yellow, and the second, a yellow alligator with reverse black stitching. The timepiece features an engraved Special Edition micro-blasted, black ceramic case back with a satin-finish, black-plate, and a black luminescent dial. The impressive self-winding movement, Caliber Hublot HUB4100, powers in minutes and hours. The dial is completed with a self-winding chronograph.
The limited-edition watch retails for $18,200 with only 30 pieces available for purchase exclusively at the Hublot Boutique in Los Angeles and on Hublot.com/us.
