The Birth Of Special Forces

The Birth Of Special Forces

With almost two decades of history under its belt, the Call of Duty series has become a household name even outside the gaming world. For its latest installment, Call of Duty: Vanguard, the franchise brings gamers back to the birth of the special forces.

Set in World War II, the storyline of the single-player campaign is put together bit by bit through flashbacks of various key characters, who are later recruited to form Vanguard – the first special operations task force. The user must to play through missions from the POV of these international soldiers with different backgrounds, travelling to major theatres of the second world war from Tobruk, Bougainville, Stalingrad, and Normandy. As always, the cinematic visuals and exciting scripts keep the gameplay flowing.

Multiplayer mode launches with 20 maps, covering diverse biomes across the Pacific, Western Front, Eastern Front, and North Africa. The brand new Champion Hill multi-arena survival tournament requires players to combine quick action with tactics and deft strategy. With 12 Special Forces operators, over 30 types of weapons and new gunplay mechanics, there is plenty of new meat to sink your teeth into. The famous zombie mode also makes a return, and this time the storyline is a continuation of the Dark Aether story from the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.

Call of Duty: Vanguard is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
